Mike Langlie’s toy piano band Twink is back with their debut release on Seeland - but without the toys. "The Broken Record" pieces together musical tidbits from hundreds of vintage children’s records, creating crazy new songs with a modern feel. The tunes put a new spin on some old favorites, and take some familiar bedtime stories in bizarre directions. It is by turns charming, hilarious, perverse, and montaged into a crazy-quilt collage in the form of terrific little ditties. You’ve never heard kiddie music like this before.
