CD
50) Noisy Children Party will delight and irritate with its noisy and funny soundplay. Silica-Gel hailed from North Carolina, USA, and back in 1993, when it first came out on Seeland Records, we were calling it "a spectrum-bending, stripped down mess of beats, sound manipulations, voice samples, and electro-sludge." And that still sounds a good like good way to describe it today.
Collectors of industrial, sound collage, plunderphonics, sampling and electronic noise in general will enjoy this one. Tom Ellard of Severed Heads says this album will "pin a tail right smack on your donkey," and Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo says "Hooray for Silica-gel!"
NOTE: We found a few boxes of this CD recently, enough to put them up for sale here. Once these are sold, the CD will be out of print.
All compositions by Michael Pilmer & Chris Tector.
